Pros and cons of Stuff.co.nz app for iPhone and iPad
Stuff.co.nz app good for
App works very well although it is sometimes slow to load stories. But that might be my connection. The worse thing is the news about stupid bogans bashing seals or running P labs!
App is 13mb but hogs hundreds of mb in cached stories which cannot be flushed! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
Stuff makes fun, informes and is my modern source of news. Go ahead
Been waiting for this, much better than RSS feeds on my cell. Good job, nice graphics and easy to navigate.
Took a little while to start first time but its easy to use and they have great news coverage.
Great source of news, but the app frequently hangs, crashes or scrolls very slowly. Please fix it, since Im going to continue using it anyway.
Some bad moments
Good content but awful loading issues. So many times I deleted the app and reinstalled it as it suggested but it still just freezes or takes a long time. So bad Ive now deleted it for good. Shame because it looked great.
This app never loads. Have deleted / reloaded it many times. For a news app there are far better apps out there. Come on Stuff, get your act together and get this app working!!!
I see that month later the hang/crash issues still exist for Canadian users. I love this app but will now switch to another to get Nz news because of the increasing instability. It is a pity that a large media organization like Fairfax does not see the value in addressing the complaints of users in a timely manner.
Im a Canadian user also (didnt realize this was a problem). App crashes almost every time I use it. So frustrating!!! NZ Herald here I come!!!
After the new update the app doesnt work on my iPhone 4. I didnt mind the slow load time. Would rather that than not work at all!
More show than substance. Flashy front page overshadows being able to actually get to news, and poor navigation hampers readers from there on.
